Cryptomator slow
I just started using cryptomator and I’ve found the encryption and decryption on the desktop app very slow. I have the cryptomator on Dropbox (like the getting started tutorial) and I’ve uploaded a folder with around 95 items summing to 165MB (the vault has this as a folder, not all files at the root of the vault). The speed of any file operation is so low that opening the vault in Obsidian with combined data (.md, .png, .pdf) takes between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on the machine. WebMay 8, 2024 · Cryptomator will crash on first launch and drive letter won't be released; On second launch, I have to switch to automatic drive letter assignement because custom letter is still assigned; I then close Cryptomator and reopen it. Custom drive letter as been freed and I can re-attribute mu custom drive letter to my cryptomator vault.
