But I still prefer DOS2's. i would say d:os2 is the far better game mechanic wise, but the immersion works better for me in pillars. but both games are totally worth the money with different strengths and weaknesses.

WebIn spite of detesting PoE's lore (I was tired of being bombed by walls of texts about unknown places I didn't give a flying sh*t about, TLDR every single dialogue), I loved its combat, very addicting. Just as I adore Divinity Original Sin 2's combat (so so lore imo) and Dragon Age Origins'(more interesting lore) combat as well. WebPOE is a resemblance to baldur's gate. So graphically it's not on divinity's level. There's a few more class/subclass options that u can do with pillars. Unlike DOS2, the combat isn't turn base. So you have to pause and unpause to pull of spells and abilities at the time you want. 8.5/10. If you do wanna play POE, definitely buy POE2.
