The idea with this pedal was to get the low-medium gain tones and texture of the amp and also achieve higher gain sounds of the amp being boosted. WebThis amp is an all out Doom machine. I run a Dunwich DA120 Overdrive in front of the dirty channel of this amp while it is set to low gain (around 3 or 4). I crank the volume up to get those tubes sweating. The tone is unbelievable. It has tons of bass and is well articulated. Kick off the over drive and I am left with the raw tone of the amp.
