WebJun 29, 2015 · Nope. GSync replaces VSync, they do not switch between each other. GSync will still cap the FPS at your refresh rate, but is still syncing the frames with the monitor. It completely stops tearing, but it doesn't have the same input lag/delay as VSync. The difference between VSync and GSync is very noticeable in Source games I find.
