Web3 feb. 2024 · Life span of the RS5 brake pads and rotors is horrible. They have significantly undersized or engineered them. I am here at the dealer with my second replacement in the service dept. They claim that after the 1st replacement at 13K miles now only 10K miles later I need full replacement of both front pads and rotors. Web12 apr. 2016 · I was driving 530 in Europe a couple of years and the front pads never last for more than 40k km. Therefore, I am surprised iDrive suggests me the change will be after 52k miles (i.e. 2 times more than on 530). I am not sure about the mm on rotors, but they always were good for 2 changes of pads.
