WebThere are a number of indicators that and guidance for measuring wellbeing, which we can use to develop and deliver better policies. A wellbeing approach means: focusing on a broader rangeof outcomes than you might traditionally e.g not just GDPor life expectancy although they are still important WebMeasuring wellbeing focuses on people’s emotional as well as practical needs. People broadly understand the concept, it’s a common focus for statutory partners, and it’s a recognised frame of reference within national policy. However, demonstrating attribution can be burdensome, and securing before and after measures can be problematic.
