There is a black transformer about 2 inches square and 3 inches high inside the console with 4 pins and an RCA phono jack (part number A32-8196P stenciled on the side). From the schematic and parts list this is the phonograph input transformer 91 (See Riders 13-10). It had a record player with Philco’s “Beam of Light” system for the phono pickup, I took it apart to see how it worked, and was fascinated by it.
