WebOct 18, 2024 · I've got no experience with the Pocketethernet product, but I've got a few Linksprinters and a Netool. The Linksprinters work, but the functionality is pretty static, the Netool has been steadily improving and adding capabilities. I think overall it's now nicer than the Linksprinter and its a bit smaller (and cheaper). WebI have a Pockethernet. A computer can do the network (soft) analysis, but not the hardware analysis. You'll probably use the soft side of it more often. +1 for Wireshark. Your computer's hardware is capable of reporting duplex and port speed (as well as error rates) to the operating system of your choice.
